What is Attendant Care?
Attendant Care services offer direct, hands-on assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, addressing their functional needs in daily activities. This service is provided to allow the individual to remain within their home, participate in their communities and avoid institutionalization.
Upcoming Changes...
Starting in July 2024, parents of minor children, whether biological or adoptive, as well as spouses and legal guardians of a minor child, will be prohibited from providing attendant care.
